New Reservoir at the Hahnenkamm !!

The new Reservoir at the Hahnenkamm is completed .

Now they are filling it with water, this will take 3 weeks until it is at the rim. There we`ll have 114.000 liters of water, to produce additional artificial snow.

Another big step to guarantee skiing in our altidude from December to April.

Also for our huge event the downhill of Hahnenkammrace another safetypad

HURRA to all the people involved in this visionare project - for to guarantee snow at the "Streif" all the way down to Rasmushof`s front door.

SKI IN SKI OUT, the only way to start and finish a skiingday.

So let's get ready for my favorite sport in Kitzbühel !!!

No I'm joking. We realy had a dramatic thunderstorm and some hail. No worries this time it looked worse than it finally turned out to be. All damages have been repaired after two days.

Here’s how well June just went for me !!!!!!!!

18 dear and loyal Rasmushof guests responded to the call to the REGULAR GUEST TRIBUTE this weekend. Tomorrow night will definitely be a lovely dignified affair.

THE ALPINE MEADOW! Anyone wanting to look for mushrooms with me should accompany me to our alpine meadow. Friends and acquaintances wanting to come with us are more than welcome!

You can start looking forward to the August issue, as it will already include detailed news of a small building project scheduled for the fall. So as not to overtax your curiosity too much: former ski school office and reception.

Review of the 8th Golf Festival 2010

Following good weather and lots of participants we can look back on a successful Golf Festival 2010. 9 tournaments were played over the 6 days, 5 of which were non-handicap tournaments. 518 tournament participants played on a total of 36 km fairways with 135 holes. 2 HOLES IN ONE were hit: 1 at GC Schwarzsee and 1 at GLC Rasmushof. The participants came from Austria, Germany, England, Italy, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Liechtenstein and South Africa. Click here to find some impressions of the Golf Festival.

Anyone alleging that snow is not guaranteed in Kitzbühel should just visit us in May for once to marvel at the snow-covered peaks and alpine meadows. Joking aside - May this year was the coldest and rainiest merry month of May for many years. Things ca really only get better. And they`re doing just that. 28 degrees are forecast for the coming Sunday - menaing that summer-like feelings will finally set in as well. The very antivipation puts one in a good mood. And then of course the Golf Festival from 20 until 26 June 2010 is already just around the corner.

June has a lot going for it: ski club tournament, morning pint, city championship, Streif Cup every Wednesday, 2 weddings. concert of the Franziskus Chor in the Hermann Reisch Hall on 22 June, midsummer festival in the Kitzbühel Ski Club startin house, general meeting of the Kitzbühel Ski Club and quite a few other things are awaiting us. There`s a lot for us to do with such a varied program ....
